Announcement: 

4 Requirements to to be a Coach or a Mentor

It is Club Policy that all Managers, Coaches & Mentor have 4 tasks completed . They are 1. Registration 2. Vetting 3. Safeguarding 1, 4. Fundamentals course.  The No1 Priority for everyone in this group, is to be a registered member of the club. The ability to take part in any Club activity starts with being a registered Club member.

1. Become a Member
2. Complete the Garda Vetting application

Contact the Club Child protection Officer. Download and complete the “LGFA E Vetting Form” below and return it with Valid ID and proof of your address to the Club Child Protection Officer cpo@templemoreladiesfootball.ie

3. Complete Safeguarding 1 Course

This course is usually a completed in 1 evening with a group of people together. Due to the current situation with Covid-19 the LGFA and GAA has an online solution which is a temporary measure in place valid until 31-12-2021 Please follow the Link below to Complete the Online course

4. Complete Fundamentals 1 course

This is the first course on the Coaching Ladder.   FUNdamentals is a foundation level course designed as an introduction to good coaching, no matter what age group you are starting to coach with.  It  is a fun, dynamic and informative course designed by coaches for coaches.

Coaches will gain some insights into the theoretical underpinnings of successful coaching as well as having the opportunity to coach and learn in a safe environment.

To Complete the Fundementals 1 Course, please email the Club secretary to enrole in any upcoming course
